The Importance of Regularly Cleansing Your Crystals
As you know, crystals are powerful tools for healing manifestation and energy work. However, overtime they can absorb the energies around them, both positive and negative. So just as you would clean your house or recharge your own body and mind your crystals also need regular care to make sure they are preforming at the best of their ability.
Why Do Crystals Need Cleansing?
When you are using your crystals regularly, carrying them with out throughout the day, placing them within your home or using them for meditation, journaling or any other crystal related rituals, they interact with your personal energy field and environment. During all of this they are absorbing and storing energy, eventually these crystals will become heavy and blocked. Cleansing these crystals releases the built-up energy and helps to restore the crystal to its natural state so it can continue supporting you.
Think of cleansing as a reset button, it simply clears away any energies that do not serve you and your intentions.
When Should You Cleanse Your Crystals?
There are no strict rules, but here are a few common times when cleansing your crystals is especially beneficial.
After Purchasing or Receiving a New Crystal: Clear any lingering energies from its journey before it reaches you.
After a Period of Heavy Use: When using crystals for meditation, journaling, crystal rituals, healing sessions or any stressful times in your life.
